That Peggy thing always threw me off. I also always hated that to have the name Maggie, you really also had to be named Margaret. Lame.

Crazy. I was watching the pop-up version of Camp Rock with daughter tonight and they actually answer the question why is Peggy a nickname for Margaret. And if I remember correctly Mog and Meg were shortened versions that eventually turned into Pog and Peg which eventually turned into Poggy and Peggy. Has anyone ever heard of Poggy??? I mean seriously. So tonight after that tidbit was learned we started calling my father-in-law Poggy instead of Poppy. Much funnier I think!
